Update

I will resume blogging soon (hopefully), but I thought it would take the opportunity just to give a quick blog post about the final product. Thinking about it for a while, I think it would be best to change final product to something more simpler but can still be enough for a final artifact.

So, I was going to animate some simple parkour actions - so a kip up, Kong vault, etc. but after thinking about it for a while and talking it through with one of my classmates, it would be best just animation a series of actions that could be easily looped - not just one cycle of a walk or run but a series.

In the series will include an idle animation, a walk and a run along with maybe one or two more actions that are more challenging. This way I get to cover the three basic animations that are used but I also test my capabilities for it.

I will start the storyboard of it tomorrow, but I will need to be working on stuff for the  group project. I will be posting about how I am finding the animating of the group game character in terms of techniques and tips I have learned.
